There are several reasons of why you should watch the first part or at least read the manga : - Character development: You will start by following the characters since their first days in the academy, and you will start to watch them grow every episode, you will know their life, their personalities, love some, and hate some, you will understand them and how they feel toward each other, and witness every single piece of event that made them arrive to what they are in the Shipudden part.

It is a great one. About 40 percent of the entire series was filler, and some of it was actually pretty decent. Not only did they have excellent writing and animation, but some filler arcs also added to the story with meaningful contributions.

Episodes through are all filler episodes. Naruto Shippuden, compared. Here are two ways to watch the entirety of Naruto while skipping the unnecessary filler episodes. Ultimate Naruto Kai is a fan-made re-edit of all of the canonical Naruto episodes, presented as 72 episodes that each correspond to the amount of content covered by the 72 manga volumes. Each of these Ultimate Naruto Kai episodes is about 60 to 90 minutes long. That means Ultimate Naruto Kai is essentially 72 full-length movies that each have a satisfying beginning, middle, and end—all meaningful story, no filler content.

Each episode is a separate download hosted on Mega. This is truly the best way to watch Naruto. If you want to take the moral high road, read on to Method 2 which is completely legal and legit. Anime Filler List even lets you filter each anime series to Canon-only episodes. Would certainly help to grasp the story, you could probably skip through the fillers if you wanted.

The first part Naruto is important to watch imo because, well simply because that's when it all begins and the core plot from the first part will be important to know before starting with Shippuuden. Watch Naruto but skipp all the filler. No point in watching those. What u could do is read a summary on Naruto the first one , look up a back story or something of a few characters and then start Naruto Shippuden.

Really their is hardly no filler in naruto, the only filler arc is the land of tea arc witch is episodes But you just can't miss, that has to be the best filler episode in the whole series :P Also is important, its half filler half manga, it details the final parts of the actual story before shippuuden.

Other wise will you will be left in the dark just jumping to shipuuden. But as far episodes to , yeah its pretty much all filer with the acception of episodes and Here is an extremely useful guide that me and Zanzabar kind of constructed. Isn't episode the last canon one until the final scene of ? Andyis Offline Joined: Mar Posts: If you don't know what was before it would just seem weird BBCode. Enough flashbacks to recount all episodes, I think not. Almost all of the flashbacks in Shippuden are of from the same scenes. Naruto has the start of Naruto's ninja career, it is also where he does a lot of his growing, and where you meet a lot of the main good guys and bad guys that will stay throughout Shippuden.

Therefore I advise you to watch Naruto first or else you wouldn't even think that Naruto Shippuden is a good series let alone understand it. If you figure out how much episodes you can watch a day, you can estimate how long it will take you to finish the series so that you can get to Shippuden faster. This is not even debatable and should never be so.

I don't care what others say.
