The overall melodic nature and changing tempo of the song is irresistible! I love the diversity of the lyrics and the song meaning!
It is very, very well written! If it would be more popular, I bet it would be in the top 3, along with Black Masks and Gasoline. If they all did, these would be higher up. This, swing life away, paper wings, tip the scales, and dancing for rain are stand outs for me, the rest from the album are also great.

I remember this specifically: I was in high school and I was a skateboarder with long hair down to my shoulder and one jock got in my face, told me to cut my hair, and yelled a derogatory slur for a gay person at me so the whole hallway heard it.

And so I was so excited to see this song getting the attention it deserves, as opposed to if it was, like, track eight on a record.
This has been a cool, unique way to get it out there, too. Your lyrics were written long before the pandemic and any of the craziness of , and yet they have this dystopian feel and cross over into a superhero world really well.
